Austin BodyChoir is ecstatic dance in community.
Come for an hour and a half of freeform dance where you can groove however your body wants, by yourself or with others. Bare your soles, surrender to the music and let your movement be guided by your body’s wisdom. There are no wrong moves. No previous dance experience necessary.

Dance by Laurel Waters
The movement started Fluid limbs Rocking Flowing Without an end
We have created a foundation Based on air Built and mitered For all to share
I have awoken In a house Filled with love Surrounded in sweat Circling bodies Moving as one Intent Well met
The energy touches The universe Core Where we remember What we are here for Community Love Strength Truth
Here awaits An unexplainable Taste Sweat Affection We will not waste
Guided intention We begin to dance The salt Soaks in The floor Here the vortex begins We soar Leaving fear behind We open a door
